Lancaster, KY Kevin C. Rowland, 52, died January 26, 2016. He is survived by his wife Susanna (Snall) Rowland; parents Jack D. (Mary) and Nancy S. (Getschmann) Rowland; daughters Amber (Kaleb) Grant and Mariam Snall; sons Troy Rowland and Craig (Marie) Rowland; brothers Kemp W. Rowland and Conor C. Rowland; grandchildren Raven Rowland, Isis Rowland and Gage Rowland; favorite aunt Jeri Getschmann; Kohen Grant the special grandson to be, and a host of other family members and caring friends. Kevin, lovingly known as KK, was an avid golfer and fisherman, and with the mind of an engineer, was a computer "Techie". He enjoyed cooking, especially with his own homegrown peppers, which he proudly labeled "Big Kev's Whoa!". His home, where he was known as Mr. Mom, was always important to him. He could fix anything with the skill of MacGyver. His stepdaughter and his pets Scrappy, Blackie and Yo-Yo were his constant source of companionship, as were previous pets Eeyore, Dee Dee and Bob. His personal heroes were James Dean and John Wayne who shared Kevin's attitude of, "Courage is being scared to death, and saddling up anyway". Funeral Information There will be a "Seattle Seahawk" themed celebration of Kevin's life for family and friends, from 2-4 PM, January 30, 2016 at 1724 Highbridge Road, Lancaster, KY 40444.
