Kevin D. Whittaker
June 25th, 1956 - July 27th, 2024
Kevin D. Whittaker, 68, of Fort Plain, NY, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 27, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Kevin was born on June 25, 1956, in Cooperstown, NY to Phyllis (Wilson) Tefft and the late Kenneth Whittaker. He spent his childhood in Cobleskill and attended Cobleskill Central School District. He worked for several different companies throughout his life, most often as a laborer.
Kevin was engaged to his sweetheart Denise Cook in 2019. Together they formed an unbreakable bond built from love and companionship.
He enjoyed watching tv and listening to music. Kevin was an outgoing person and loved any opportunity he was given to spend time with his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his father Kenneth Whittaker; brother Keith Whittaker; and grandson Caleb Andreadakis.
Kevin is survived by his fiancé Denise Cook; Mother Phyllis Tefft; sons Kevin and Joshua Whittaker; daughters Kristy Andreadakis, Mandy Whittaker, and Sandy Whittaker; siblings Gary and Glenn Zeh, Gail Brodeur, Terry Mulkins, Timothy Tefft, and Kenneth Whittaker; stepbrother Billy Milot; eight grandchildren; very good friend Robert Kennedy; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a celebration of life held for Kevin at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society MS Society Donation Form - General - National MS Society.
