Kimberley Mizen-Wood

Kimberley Anne Mizen-Wood, 55, of North Port passed away, after a hard-fought battle with cancer, on January 25, 2022. She was born May 25, 1966 in Chicago Il to Kurt Mizen and Stephanie Kariher. Kimberly will be remembered as a kind and loving person who loved everyone. She received her bachelor’s degree from The Ringling College of Art and Design. She was an accomplished Painter and Potter and created custom jewelry as well. Survivors include her husband and best friend, John Wood, sons; Jacob Mitchell Wood, Nathaniel Phillip Wood, his wife Angela Wood, and Daniel Patrick Wood, grandson, Finn Mitchell Wood, father, Kurt Mizen, mother, Stephanie Osleweski, brother, Eric Mizen, sisters, Emily Sample and Lucy Shenk as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.
