Kirsten Rain Tomlinson Kirsten Rain Tomlinson 17, October 24, 2002 - June 6, 2020, lived a life that was full of memories that centered around her family and friends who she deeply loved. She always brought a smile to your face and her presence was surely known wherever she went. Kirsten always strived to be a loving, caring and honest person. She wanted to become a model as anyone who knew she constantly took photos for us to remember her by, always trying to get that perfect shot. She also had aspirations to be a veterinarian or marine biologist as her love for animals was well known. Kirsten always had a saying that this world wasn’t ready for her and she was right. She always lived for every little moment and cherished the little things in life like family and friends. From the day she was born till her untimely death she was a strong fighter. At the age of 12 she was diagnosed as a Type 1 Diabetic and constantly put up a fight to still live her life as she wanted to. Kirsten will be lovingly remembered by her father and step-mother William and Charlene Tomlinson; her mother and step-father Erica and Edward Connery; her brothers Kaleb, Kenneth and Ayden; her sisters Hailea and Trista; her paternal grandparents William Tomlinson and Pamela Wine; her maternal grandparents Dale and Rhoda Frase; her aunt and boyfriend Trisha and Chris; her uncle and aunt Justan and Amanda Tomlinson; paternal cousins Jayden, Ashton and Jase; along with other numerous extended family from multiple states. Kirsten was preceded in death by her paternal great grandparents Margaret Tomlinson and Howard Wine and her maternal great grandmother Dorothy Frase. Kirsten’s beautiful soul and loving personality will sorely be missed by everyone who ever had the chance to share a relationship with her. Family is invited to join for Kirsten’s Funeral Viewing at Legacy Funeral and Cremation Care, located at 7043 University Avenue in La Mesa, CA 91942 on Friday, June 12th at 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Close friends are welcome to come and go at their leisure, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a future date and time for friends.
