de Vries, Klaas J., ?Dutch?, 95, of St. Petersburg, died Friday January 12, 2001 at Bayfront Medical Center. He was born in Grosheide, Germany and came here in 1974 from Peoria, IL. where he retired from Caterpillar as a machinest after 35 years. He was a Lutheran and a member of Masonic Lodge # 263 of Peoria, IL. Survivors include three step-grandsons: Jack Schoonover, Venice, Fl.; Danny Schoonover, Sterling, IL; Marc Schoonover, Lincoln, IL; step-great grandchildren: Amy Corder, and Robert, Blake, Clark, Timothy James, and Katie Schoonover; and three step-great-great grandchildren: Andrew Schoonover, and Elliott and Peyton Corder. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes and Cremation Tribute Center, McLeod Chapel.
