Kristen Michele Dolan

Tribute Kristen, Michele (Poodies) Dolan Born to Brian and Barb Dolan on June 11, 1991 passed away February 8, 2023. Kristen was 31 years old. Kristen was born in Boulder and grew up in Erie on the family farm with her parents, brother, grandma, uncles, aunts and cousins. She attended Erie high school where she played basketball and was on the cheerleading team that won state champion in 2008. She attended front Range community college then transferred to the University of Colorado Nursing school where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2015. She worked at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora in the Pulmonary Department where she became a charge nurse. Kristen’s love for people was evident. She loved her family, coworkers, friends, and truly enjoyed caring for people as a nurse. She was a an amazing daughter who was filled with love, kindness, compassion, and was extremely strong in every way. She love to travel and was always up for new adventures, but at the end of the day, Kristen was truly a homebody. When she wasn’t working or spending time with her close friends, she loved being at home spending time with her extended family and her animals. Our lives and hearts are forever changed by Kristen’s love, compassion, dedication, strength, and graciousness. She was truly one of a kind. Our most beloved treasure has left our family and we will miss her deeply. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to ASPCA or the American cancer society. Kristen‘s Celebration of Life will be held at the Calvary Bible Church located at 615 Evans Street, Erie CO 80516 at 2:00 PM on Monday February 20, 2023. Reception to follow Celebration at 3:00 PM.
