Beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt and niece Kristina Francisca Perez, 36, went to her heavenly home on February 16, 2023. Born August 24, 1986, a lifelong resident of Salinas, California, she died unexpectedly in San Francisco, California. Kristina was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, and her family. She was a proud aunt who cherished seeing her nieces and nephews grow up. She referred to them as the sunshines in her life. A loving sister, she enjoyed spending time with her relatives and friends. Kristina liked hikes and walks on the beach. She was a Girl Scout and student-athlete. Kristina graduated with academic honors from Everett Alvarez High School in 2004. She also studied psychology at Hartnell College. Kristina is now reunited with her father, David Perez, who died in 2019. She is also predeceased by both grandfathers: Gonzalo Perez (veteran), Ramiro Hernandez (veteran); uncles: Samuel Perez, Juan Perez, Tony Hernandez, Andy Hernandez. She is survived by her mother(s): Suzanna Hernandez, Marlene Gonzalez; grandmothers: Reynalda Perez, Gloria Hernandez; five sisters: Priscilla (Hector) Castillo, Sabrina Hernandez, Cynthia Gonzalez, Rebecca Perez-Gonzalez, Veronica Perez-Gonzalez; two nephews: Tristan, David; seven nieces: Adela, Alyssa, Meckayla, Aliyah, Nevaeh, Violette, Leyla; uncles: Gonzalo Perez Jr., Jesse Perez, Alex Hernandez, Ramiro Hernandez Jr.; aunt: Delia Hernandez. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 1 - 5 PM at the Healey Moprtuary, 405 N. Sanborn Rd., Salinas, CA A Rosary will be said Wednesday at 3:00 PM Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be held, Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Iglesia Cristo Rey, Salinas Burial will follow at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Salinas
