Lance John McMicken

A Celebration of Life service for Lance John McMicken, 71, of West Columbia, will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the lakeside Gazebo at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Woodridge Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family with arrangements. Lance McMicken passed away October 10, 2020. Born in Shields Township, IL, he was a son of the late Glen Wilbert McMicken and Elizabeth Marie Breen McMicken. Lance was a gifted athlete who enjoyed the Oakland A’s, Formula 1 Racing, working on his Porsche and baking his award-winning chocolate chip cookies. He will be remembered for his loving gentle nature, kindness and sense of humor. Lance was also a man of faith. Lance is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cynthia McMicken; his beloved children; daughter, Jessica Robbins; son, Jeffrey McMicken. He was also the proud grandfather to four lovely grandchildren, and is also survived by his twin sister, Susan Spencer, and his brothers, Michael McMicken and Tim McMicken.
