Larry C. Agan

November 23rd, 1946 - July 30th, 2024

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we must announce the passing of Larry C. Agan, who departed this life on July 30, 2024, in Olympia, Washington, at the age of 77. Larry was born To Charles and Roma Agan (née Shawler) on November 23, 1946, in Des Moines, Iowa.

 

Larry proudly served his country as a Petty Officer in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1977. He ended up working for the Washington State, working for the Department of Revenue.

 

In 1986, Larry married the love of his life, Nancy, in Des Moines, Iowa. Together, they moved to Rainier Washington and resided there for 23 years.

 

Larry’s life was enriched by his deep interests, which included Ramtha's School of Enlightenment, the soulful music of Stevie Ray Vaughan, and the "Good Eats" cooking show. He was also a dedicated supporter of President Trump.

 

Larry is survived by his wife Nancy Agan (née Nuckolls), his daughter Camille Fangmeier (Mike), brother Tom Agan (Robin), sister Robin Luke (Mike), and sister Christina Kim (Matt) as well as his Granddaughter Amber (Jon) Oiler, Great Grandsons Kaeden and Noah, Grandson Cody (Kristina) Fitzgerald, and Great Granddaughters Camryn and Brynlee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Roma Agan, his sister Michelle Berard (Brian).

 

As we remember Larry, we honor not only his many achievements and contributions but also the warmth, wisdom, and love he brought into the lives of those who knew him. His legacy will continue to live on through the memories treasured by his family and friends.
