Larry Jr. Baugus, 78, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away on March 2nd, 2024 at Lexington Medical Center at 3:30 AM. Larry was born July 30th, 1945 in Dunklin County, Missouri to his late parents, Jack Baugus and Opal (Morris) Baugus. Larry mostly worked manufacturing with LSI and Michelin. Most recently he worked at Auto Zone. Larry loved going to the mountains, working on cars, watching westerns, and going fishing. He loved God and his family. He was an Elder at Icon church. He is preceded in death by his brother, William "Bill" Baugus, and sister, Ginnie "Jean" Scharf. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Baugus; his children, Cheri Taylor, Eric Baugus, Jeff (Christina) Baugus - all of Lexington, SC; his grandchildren, Joshua Bodfish, Stephanie (Ladd) Benson, Justin Baugus, Haley Baugus - all of Lexington SC; his great grandchild, Leo Bodfish of Lexington, SC; his siblings, Philip "Al" Baugus of Pullman, MI, and sister, Patricia "Trisha" Kreutziger of Myrtle Beach, SC. Services will be held Saturday, March 9th, 2024 at Woodridge Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and funeral will follow at 3:00 PM. We ask that you wear a yellow accessory to honor his light he brought into our lives.
