Larry L. Cassity

Larry L. Cassity passed away at West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, ID on Saturday, March 16, 2013. He was born on December 4, 1936 in Gilroy, CA. Shortly afterwards his parents moved to Beaver, OK. Larry graduated from Balko High School in 1955. He then graduated from Oklahoma State with a degree in accounting. He worded in Oklahoma City for a while, and then moved to San Jose, CA. While in San Jose, he met and married Mary Evelyn Wren in August 1964. In July of 1965, their first daughter Ruby Darlene was born. In November of that year, they moved to Grants Pass, OR. A couple of years later in November of 1967, their second daughter Kim Marie was born. Larry worked a variety of jobs until in the mid-90s when he was forced to retire because of health reasons. In July of 2005, Larry, Mary, and Darlene moved to Caldwell, ID. He loved movies and was an avid sports fan. Larry is survived by his wife Mary, his two daughters Darlene and Kim, and his brother Bob Cassity of Muskogee, OK. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 25, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell, ID. Service Information

In 1984, Flahiff Chapels expanded its facility with the addition of Canyon and Owyhee County’s first crematory.
