Larry Allen Coffin
September 1st, 1938 - April 29th, 2015
Larry Allen Coffin, 76, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Hospice House in University Place, WA. He was born in Tacoma, WA to Howard and Mildred Reyburn Coffin. Larry grew up in Tacoma and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1956. After high school he joined the Army Reserves and served for 8 years. He retired from Rainier Brewing, Teamster Local Union 117 in 1986. Larry is survived by his best friend and partner of 25 years, Linda McCurdy; two step children and their spouses, Mike & Tina Queree and Bobbi & Matt Weber; eight grandchildren; and one great grandson. Larry was an avid fisherman who enjoyed any time spent on the water, especially if he was sharing his passion with children. The family will hold a private memorial for him at his special fishing hole on the North Fork of the Toutle River. Condolences may be sent to: 3325 Louise St W, University Place, WA 98466.
