Larry L. Cox Jr.

Larry L. Cox Jr., 55, passed away September 26, 2018 in Tumwater, Washington. He was born January 15, 1963 to Patricia and Larry Cox in Columbia, South Carolina. An Olympia, Washington resident for 22 years, Larry also lived in Yakima, Washington; Eustis, Florida; and El Centro, California. He attended El Centro’s Central High School, married Danette Ringer in Yakima, Washington, and was a business owner from 1996 to 2012. Larry was a loving, compassionate, smart and selfless man. He was always available to listen to and help others. His friends were important to him. Above all, he loved his family more than words can tell. Among his interests and hobbies were motorcycles, music, art, poetry, books, fish ‘n’ chips, and tattoos. He belonged to Cap City Group in Olympia. He will be remembered for his smile. Larry is survived by his sons, Paul W. Cox and Larry Cox III; daughters, Whitney Cox and Hannah Cox; mother, Patricia Cox; and grandchildren, Alexis, Aksel and Paulie. He was predeceased by his father, Larry Cox Sr.; and sister, Patricia Johnson. Services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at South Sound Manor, 455 North St. SE, Olympia, WA 98501.
