Larry Joseph Salazar
October 30th, 1959 - March 18th, 2022
Larry Joe Salazar, 62 went to be with the lord March 18, 2022, peacefully while asleep. He was born on October 30, 1959, in Worland, Wyoming. Grew up in Casper Wyoming where he remained until 1998 then moving to Loveland CO for the rest of his life. Larry gained his GED and was a man of many talents and trades. Larry loved fishing and teaching others how to fish. Being a musician ran in his blood, drums being his favorite. Larry lived a full life even with the years he spent away from us. For those who have met Larry, they always remembered him, unforgettable to say the least. Larry was fortunate to have lifelong friends and family he was always close with. Anyone he met became a good friend he was humble and loving. He made a career of painting and being a bartender in his younger years. He is preceded in death by parents Joseph Salazar, Norma Lopez and Stepmother Betty Salazar. Siblings: Bruce Jensen, Phillip Salazar, Rita Hernandez-Salazar, Pam Martin, and Josephine Flores. Larry is survived by his children: Geno Greer of Casper, WY, Alexzandria Cisneroz-Salazar of Laporte, CO, Samantha Salazar of Fort Collins, CO, Angilo Salazar of Loveland, CO and Rachquel Salazar of Loveland, CO. Isabella Aragon of Fort Collins, CO. Grandchildren: Justin, Layla and Michael Boothe, Carlii and Ana Cisneroz, Avianna and Zyanna Rojero, Leiah and Ermias Salazar, Emily Juliette Salazar-Luna and Azalea Hernandez. Siblings: Monica (Jose) Vega of Casper Wy, Debbie Garrett of Dublin, TX, Terry (Pam) Brent of Dallas, TX, Teresa (Ofrendo) Moralez of Mesa AZ. Debbie (Tom) Lucero of Ogden, UT Clayton (Gloria) Jensen of Casper Wy, Cynthia Salazar, Victoria Salazar- McNeely, Maria Salazar, Tina Salazar-Sharp. Stepsiblings: Marsha Nighuis, Freda Marrero and numerous nieces and nephews. His longtime love Sandra Aragon and mother of his children Juliette Burgdorf who he remained close with until the end. Viewing will be at Veigut Funeral Home 1616 N. Lincoln Ave. Loveland CO on Wednesday March 30th, 2022, from 3-7pm. Services/ Burial will be on Thursday March 31st, 2022, at 10:30am with Reception to follow at the Moose Lodge 1408 Morning Dr. Loveland CO. Pallbearers: Angilo Salazar, Clayton Jensen, Sonny Ramirez, Bambi Lara, Danny Falasco, Bernardo Rodriguez, and Adrian Vega. In lieu of flowers please donate to Veigut Funeral home.
