LaRue Boyer Clark

LaRue Boyer Clark October 8, 1932 - September 16, 2017 Resident of Concord, CA LaRue Boyer Clark passed away at the age of 84 on September 16, 2017 with her loving husband of 65 years by her side. She is survived by her husband Mel Clark, four daughters Sheri Clark, Lori Thomas (David), Janan Fenton (Steve), Jill Rawe (George), 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Glenn Boyer (Geraldine) and sister Lela Geisenberg (Gus). LaRue was born on October 8, 1932 in Arco, Idaho to Ira Wayne Boyer, Sr. and Ruby Coon. She attended Idaho State University where she met her sweetheart and eternal companion, Mel. They were married on August 27, 1952 in the LDS Idaho Falls Temple. They lived in Idaho the first few years of their marriage before moving to Concord, California in 1961. Her passion and joy in life was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with family and friends, treating them to great food and playing games. She was creative, loved working with flowers, and was an accomplished seamstress. LaRue was blessed with a positive outlook and happy disposition. One would rarely see her without a smile on her face. She loved meeting new people and helping others. In lieu of flowers and in keeping with her kind heart and generous spirit, donations may be made to the LDS Humanitarian Fund or the American Red Cross. Services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at the LDS Chapel located at 1590 Denkinger Road in Concord at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 am.
