Laura A. Garcia, 14, of Caldwell, went home to Jesus on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at a Boise hospital surrounded by her family. Laura’s name says it all: L-loving, A-adventurous, U-unbelievable, R-really strong, A-always smiling. Words couldn’t describe the strength she had in her battle with cancer. Laura always had a loving smile for anyone she met, even on her worst days. Her will and wants to live was always apparent, and of course the love and bond she has with her family. Laura is reunited with her mother Rosa Garcia in Heaven. Laura is survived by her father, Roberto Garcia, sister, Gladis Garcia, brother, Jonathan Garcia, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and many many loving friends. Laura was preceded in death by her mother Rosa Garcia. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Caldwell. [1122 W. Linden] Interment will follow at Kolherlawn Cemetery, Nampa, ID. Services are under the care of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Condolences can be made at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com.
