January 24th, 1963 - July 13th, 2013
50 of Brandon, Fla passed away July 13, 2013 after a 7 year battle with cancer. Laura was a giver in all her life relationships and loved to take the family's children to the zoo, amusement parks and movies. She was a devoted pet lover and took care of feral cats in her neighborhood. Laura worked for J P Morgan Chase Bank for the last 18 years. Laura is survived by her parents, Gary and Lee Thomas, her grandmother, Edwina Ashworth, four siblings, Ellen (Chris) Minich, Chris (Nicole) Thomas, Tim (Lynn) Thomas and Amy (Chris) Duncan, 14 nieces and nephews, Matthew, Caleb, Kelsey, Katelyn, Laura, Garrett, Logan, Rachel, Nathan, Abby, Makenna, Megan, Samantha and Benjamin, several aunts and uncles and her faithful feline companion, Maxwell. A celebration of Laura's life will be 7 pm Friday, July 19, 2013 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Fla. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd, Sarasota, Fla or LifePath Hospice, 12470 Telecom Drive, Suite 300 W, Temple Terrace, Fla 33637
