Laurel May Helberg of Delta, CO passed away on Monday December 18, 2023. She was born in Littleton, CO on September 7, 1939. Laurel married the love of her life, husband and best friend of 65 years and lived an exciting life filled with travel being an Air Force wife, having wonderful friends and an unending love of God that they shared and proclaimed throughout their life. Laurel was a true friend to many and a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be missed tremendously. Laurel was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Helberg, parents Lawrence and Frances LeGault, and brother Robert LeGault. She is survived by her son Michael Helberg of Littleton,CO, daughter Dianne Volante of Aurora CO, and her three grandchildren, Joshua Boyer of Morgan Hill, CA, Francesca Volante of Loveland, CO and Jonathan Volante of Colorado Springs, CO. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Ft Logan National Cemetery. In leui of flowers, please send donatations to SBN.
