Laurence Alan Talley

Son of - John Norman Talley & Neva Leona Talley, Loving Husband of - Jan Talley. Brother to - Steven Daniel Talley & Michael Eugene Talley. Larry Alan Talley was born in Peoria, Illinois in November 13, 1953. His family relocated to the Seattle area in 1955. Larry graduated from Tahoma High School and continued his education at Green River Community College where he obtained his Associates Degree in Electronics. Larry was a valued Employee with Boeing from 1978 until his retirement at age 55 in 2009. It was during this time that he met his Loving wife of 23 years Jan Talley. Larry became an active member of the Catholic Church in 2006. He also joined Jan in Ministering at the Womans Correctional Center in Purdy, Washington for the next 12 years. Larry described his calling as a Shepherd to the Lambs. He was very passionate in helping people find Jesus. Larry passed away peacefully at home surrounded by Loved ones on December 17, 2015. Larry is Loved & Remembered by four stepchildren, Rebecca Seeman, Amber Roberts, David Taylor, Barbara Daugherty. Larry was Loving Papa to: Toby Blessing, Brenna Daugherty, Megan Daugherty, Zeb Daugherty, Andrea Daugherty, Tyson Taylor, Nick Taylor, Molly Roberts, Aaron Roberts. Larry was Beloved Uncle to: Michael Jeremy Talley, Aaron Talley Ethan Savoya, Eric Pettigrew, Johnathan Luis Talley, Michelle Rene Talley, Ryan Cole Talley, Chuck & Tammy Turner, Leslie Pizza, Loren Novakovich Larry is Remembered by many Loving Aunts & Cousins. Memorial for Larry Talley will be held at St. John of the Woods Catholic Church 9903 24th Ave E. Tacoma, Wa 98445 on January 2, 2016 - 11:00am.
