Lawrence J Kundert 57, Fort Atkinson passed away on February 24, 2024 at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI. Lawrence was born on December 1, 1966, in Wisconsin Rapids to Larry and Ann Kundert. He graduated from Assumption High School in Wisconsin Rapids in 1985 and received his bachelor’s degree from UW-Platteville in Electrical Engineering. He was employed as an Application Engineer with Border States Electric for 16 years. He enjoyed living on Lake Koshkonong and all things outdoors including boating, four wheeling, snowmobiling, downhill skiing and hunting. For many years, he enjoyed deer hunting back home with his father and brother at Elm Lake. He also had a love for cats and leaves behind Ash. He is survived by his parents Larry and Ann Kundert, Wisconsin Rapids; siblings Julie (Brian) Arnold, Janesville, Lori Doemel (Hanh), Grafton, Robert (Lori) Kundert, Nekoosa; nieces and nephews Travis Arnold, Alex and Sam Kundert; girlfriend Kim Schuett, Jefferson. A prayer service will be held at Schneider Michaelis Funeral Home 900 W. Racine St. Jefferson, WI 53549 on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 4:00pm with Monsignor Donald Heiar officiating.
