Lea Lisa Evangelista
August 7th, 1973 - September 10th, 2022
Obituary Lea Evangelista, 49, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022. She was born on August 7, 1973, in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Walter and Louise Ortivez. Lea was a 1992 graduate of Roy J. Wasson High School. While in high school she did dual enrollment getting college credits. She got her credits through Pike Peak Community College. In college She studied upholstery in her mechanical classes, and loved learning about vehicles. Those who knew Lea remember her as a loving mother, kind hearted soul, and a strong woman. She loved many things in this world from oldies on the radio, to her husband, to her children all the way to her beloved grandchild. Outside of her home life Lea was known for being a living sister, compassionate friend, a jokester, and so much more. So many memories and thoughts could be shared about her; like her laugh being so contagiously loud, or her presents being so felt whenever you shared the room with her. Her family will always remember the many holidays, birthdays, laughs, and countless conversations with her. Lea is survived by her mother (Louise), her sisters (Dottie and Sharon), her husband (Ed), her three children (Ramon, Roman, and MInda), her grandchild (Romello), her nephew and nieces, and many more extended family members and friends.
