July 3rd, 1924 - December 21st, 2015
Leah Kline, age 91, of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015. Leah was born July 3, 1924 in Los Angeles CA to the late Baruch and the late Sarah (Pinsky) Pollack. Leah worked for twenty years as a social worker for Los Angeles County. She was a member of the Jewish War Veterans. Leah is survived by her sons Gerald (Julie) Kline of Berkeley CA, and David Kline of Las Vegas; grandchildren Jessica (Douglas) Kline Royer of Berkeley, Jamie Kline of NY and Gina Baker of El Sobrante CA; and great grandson Torin Royer of Berkeley. She is predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Edward Kline and son Howard Kline. Burial will take place at 9:20 am on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV. Contributions in Leah's memory may be made to the Edward Kline Memorial Homeless Veteran's Fund, 2232 Sun Cliffs Street, Las Vegas, NV 89134.
