Legaya Hope Ward

Legaya Hope Ward, age 35 of Overton NV passed away on November 3, 2010. She was a gracious angel who brought a special light into the lives of those who knew her. Legaya enjoyed all types of music, especially country western and the music of Michael Jackson. She also enjoyed her dad's cooking, most notably, his roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy, and his lasagna. Legaya is survived by her parents Ronald and Josefina Ward of Overton; siblings James Patrick(Estella) Ward of Phoenix AZ, Michael E. (Yesenia) Ward of Las Vegas NV, Renee Ward of Redondo Beach CA, Robin (Marty) Chapman of Lafayette LA, Jeff Smith of Overton NV; and nieces and nephews Nicholas, Lauren and Ava Nevarez of Redondo Beach, William and Jonathon Ward of Las Vegas, James Jr., Joseph, Veronica, Katherine and Jason Ward of Phoenix, and Patrick and Murray Chapman of Lafayette. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 8:00 am on Monday, November 8 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1399 San Felipe Drive, Boulder City, NV. A committal service and burial will follow at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd, Boulder City NV. Contributions in Legaya's memory may be made to the St. Andrew Catholic Church in Boulder City NV.
