1:00 o'clock Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006 Masonic Center 521 North St. SE Tumwater, Washington Liela Marie Coulliette, our beautiful princess was born on August 17, 2002 to Robert and Jennifer Coulliette. She passed at the age of 3, due to complications from a gastric volvulous causing a stroke. On February 2, 2006 Leila passed away in the arms of her parents. She is survived by her parents, grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She graced us with an amazing zest for life. Leila taught us many lessons; the big one was to enjoy everything to be happy, and to “keep trying”. She had a rough road to travel from the start, Leila was born with a congenital heart defect which led her to many doctor visits and hospital stays. Through it all she remained one of the happiest and joyous individuals we have ever known. Even with all the poking and prodding, tests and surgeries, she loved all the doctors and nurses; showering them with hugs, kisses, and her gracious smile. Leila loved the outdoors, animals, and running REALLY fast. The girl could persuade you into doing anything her heart desired. Sunshine and laughter followed her everywhere. With dreams of being a doctor, a dancer, and a musician she leaves us in awe. Leila’s heart was bigger than the world she lived in. She loved everyone in her life with all her might and was loved back tremendously. Leila and her dad had rituals that included cooking, taking care of the family pets, kung fu, exercises, and playing with play doh. With her mom she enjoyed helping around the house, dancing, singing, and playing dress up. Leila had fun doing many things such as swimming in her bath tub and gardening at her Welita’s house. She and her Grammy would have tea parties together. One of her greatest enjoyments was playing with any one of her many uncles and making them play dress up and tea parties too. She also had a special bond with her aunties calling them on the phone to arrange play dates with them. Leila, our angel, will be greatly missed but her laughter will never be forgotten. As Heaven exists in each heart, Leila will always be in ours. She will watch over us to help remind us to the many lessons she has taught us and is still teaching us. Leila spoke often of wanting to go to Heaven to be with her beloved cat, Peanut. Help bring her wish true by not mourning her death but by remembering her laugh, her smile, her sparkle, her love. Give her last wish and let her go to Heaven to her beloved Peanut where she is happy and no longer in pain. For those attending the services the family requests non black attire and to wear temporary tattoos in her honor.
