Biography Leila Miriam ( Karnes) Dashoff 88, of Rockledge, Florida Passed away April 18, 2014. Leila was born June 2, 1925 in New Bedford, MA. Leila was a business owner of Pack Shops in Providence, RI. She had a French Degree from Brown University. Leila is survived by her daughter Harriet (Dashoff) Lockshine, son-in-law Eric Lockshine, and only grandson Louis. She is also survived by her brother Seymour Karnes and his Wife Charlotte Karnes, and 5 nieces and nephews and 5 grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Louis Dashoff, Leila’s husband of 36 years predeceased her in 1991. Ronald Karnes, Leila’s brother predeceased her in 1999. Graveside services will be held at Fountainhead Memorial Gardens on April 21, 2014. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the Alzheimer’s Foundation to the Leila M. Dashoff Tribute at alz.org. Shiva will be at the Home of Eric and Harriet Lockshine, 1600 Bridgeport Circle, Rockledge starting Monday April 21, after graveside service till 5:30P.M. Tuesday, April 22, 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday April 23 all day.
