Lena Helen Garcia

Lena H. Garcia, 74, of Greeley passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in Loveland. She was born December 29, 1946 in Van Nuys, California to Tommy Martinez Gonzales and Helen Frances (Moreno) Gonzales. She grew up in California and graduated from Cupertino High. Lena married Claude Garcia on May 27, 1967 in Greeley. She worked for Kodak, operated Busy Bee Boutique, and worked in human resources at Monfort for over 10 years. She enjoyed crafting, going to craft shows, cooking, dancing, traveling, and playing softball. Lena is survived by her children, Michele Jaramillo and husband Robert of Greeley, Jeffery Garcia and wife Charla of California, and Amy Garcia and Matthew Evans of California; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Barbara Aparicio and husband Robert of California, Thomas Gonzales of California, and Joni Krause of Oregon. She was preceded by her parents, her husband, her son Christopher Garcia and her granddaughter Jenna Miller. Recitation of the Rosary will be Monday, November 29, 2021 at 6:00p.m. at Adamson. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00a.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
