March 12th, 1927 - June 9th, 2012
Leo William Evers, age 85, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Saturday, June 09, 2012. Our father loved his country, dancing and music. He was a hard worker who knew how to live life and he will be greatly missed! Leo is preceded in death by his parents, William and Carrie Evers and his brother John Evers. He is survived by his companion, Patty Cullifon; three daughters, Linda Ganning and fiance Mickey Larkin of Brick, NJ, Nancy and her husband Larry Vannucci of Dallas, TX, and Dawn Calefato of Sea Girt, NJ; one son, William Evers and wife Kathy of Seabrook, TX; six grandchildren, Vicki Compton of Brick, NJ, Jason Vannucci and wife Selise of Denton, TX, Dylan Evers of Seabrook, TX, Jewel Janie and Georgia Calefato of Sea Girt, NJ and five great-grandchildren, Madison and Jadelyn Hook, Quintin, Carlton and Shelby Vannucci. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Riverside Funeral Home Chapel, located at 225 San Mateo NE, followed by a Celebration of Leo's life at 3:00 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, 764-9663.
