December 22nd, 1929 - April 17th, 2016
Leola Motes, age 86, of South Bay, passed away April 17, 2016 in West Palm Beach. She was born Dec. 22, 1929 in Fort Meade, FL to the late Richard C and the late Viola (Boatwright) Crews. She is survived by one son: Carl Edward Motes, two daughters: Glenda K Wilson and Sandra Lynn, three brothers: John Motes, Freeman Crews and Lee Edward Crews, and one sister: Betty Jo Blackburn, eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Amos Carl Motes and daughter, Tammy Worth. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 11:00 am at Belle Glade Church of God, Belle Glade. Interment will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clewiston. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00-7PM at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston, FL. Arrangements by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - Clewiston.
