Leon Thomas Berry

Leon T. Berry, 71, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Thursday, February 21, 2008 at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. He was born in Portland, ME and moved to St. Petersburg in 1977 from Providence, RI. He was a self employed landscaper. He was a member of Elks and Moose lodges. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Joanne L.; two sons, Michael and Steve both of Providence; four daughters, Kimberly Berry of Providence, Edie L. Anderson of Largo, FL, Brenda Cheesman of Spring Hill, FL, Kathy Presto of Norfolk, VA; two sisters, Doris Poirier and Eleanor Berry both of St. Petersburg; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 5 brothers. The family requests memorials to: H.
