SPRINGFIELD — Leona J. Cunningham of Springfield died Nov. 9 of age-related causes. She was 90.She was born Sept. 14, 1922, in Eugene to William and Hildred Terry Goepferd. She married Melvin Chester Cunningham on Feb. 26, 1949, in Springfield. He died Aug. 27, 1997.She graduated from Springfield High School in 1940. She worked for the Springfield School District as an administrative assistant, was an office manager for Chef Francisco in Eugene and she was a teller for First Interstate Bank until she retired in 1987.Survivors include two sons, Michael of Jasper and Brad Cunningham of Seattle; a daughter, Pamela Cunningham of Springfield; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Inurnment will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30, at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene. Arrangements by Musgrove’s at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Alzheimer’s Association in Eugene.
