Leona Spohr
September 5th, 1924 - August 30th, 2013
Leona Spohr passed away on Friday August 30, 2013 at home with her family surrounding her with love. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 5, 1924 to Maurice & Gussie Charles. In 1926, the family went to San Francisco and then settled in Seattle, Washington. In 1943, she met and married her husband and best friend Harold. They were married for 69 years and had three daughters, Cathie, Pat & Pam. Leona had five grandchildren and six great grandchildren whom she adored and loved spending time with. Leona was a very active member of United Methodist Church of Woodburn, Oregon. She cherished her church community and the relationships they had. Leona enriched the lives of hundreds of people throughout her life and was widely loved and respected. She will be dearly missed by everyone. Service Information
