Leonard "Lazer Ben Benyamin" Goldberg

Leonard "Lenny" Goldberg, age 86, of Henderson, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 in Las Vegas, NV. Mr. Goldberg was born January 22, 1932 in Bronx, NY. He is the son of the late Benjamin and the late Sally (Meer) Goldberg. In his youth, Lenny joined the United States Army where he served during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Sue (Glassman), his children David (Jessica) Goldberg of Bainbridge Island Washington, Tobi (Robert) Loy of Landsdale, Pennsylvania, & Barry Goldberg of Los Angeles, California, his grandchildren Diana, Mikayla, Ryan, Josh, Ben, & his beloved pet Bo. He was predeceased by his sister, Miriam Rose Epner. Lenny was the president & founder of a nonprofit organization, Visions for Recovery. He was a certified addiction treatment specialist. He enjoyed playing cards, poker, and 9 innings with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. The funeral & graveside service will be held 12:00 pm on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City, NV 89005. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. .
