Leonard Iverson
July 20th, 1946 - February 16th, 2013
No Leonard Leroy Iverson Leonard 66 passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Providence St. Peter Hospital, Olympia, Washington. Leonard was born in Morton, Washington on July 20, 1946, to Bud & Lela Iverson. He grew up in Morton and graduated from Morton High School in 1964. Following high school, Leonard served in the U.S. Navy. He then worked as an auto mechanic for many years. Leonard married Aloha (Johnson) Chamberlain on August 6, 2011. His family will remember him as a wonderful man, cheerful, loved to go to the Casino, car rides. He loved people in general and enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by his family. Surviving are his wife Aloha Iverson (Lacey); son Brian Iverson (Lacey); stepsons Keith and Kyle Chamberlain (both of Lacey); daughter Dianna Kero (Lacey); brothers George (Dick) Iverson (Tacoma) and Ronald Iverson (Menifee, CA); Uncle Charles (Edi) Iverson and parents Bud & Lela Iverson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 4 step- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers Albert (Ray) Iverson and Buddy Duane Iverson; uncles Paul Iverson and Leroy Iverson; and aunts Helen, Ina and Dorothy. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 11:00 am at the Olympia Lacey Church of God on the corner of Ruddell Road and Lacey Blvd SE. Services will be followed by a potluck luncheon at the church. Please write memories and condolences for the family below in the guestbook.
