Leslie Anne Westervelt
March 25th, 1959 - November 29th, 2015
Leslie Anne Westervelt, 56, of Summerfield, FL, passed away, Sunday, November 29, 2015 after a strong battle with leukemia. Leslie moved to Summerfield in the mid 70's. She attended Lake Weir High School where she met Jimmy, who lovingly refers to her as Tutz, and they have been together ever since. She is the daughter of the late Walter Otto Partenheimer and Muriel Partenheimer, who lives in Ocala. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jane Westervelt.
Leslie had worked for Advanced Imaging in Ocala for 20 years. She enjoyed being an active member of the Ocala Shrine Club as Lady Leslie and loved going to Gator games. She was known for her kindness, sense of humor, cooking, a glass of good wine and being with her family. She always was concerned about others before herself. Her laughter and her presence will be forever missed.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Jimmy Westervelt; two children, Jennifer Wheeler (Dustin), Jimmy J. Westervelt; two grandchildren, Heidi and Hana Wheeler; brothers, Walter Partenheimer, William Westervelt (Muriel); sisters, Beverly Hunter(James), Jacque Westervelt-Navarro, Darlene Lucas (Michael), Susan Mirro (Thomas), Laura Hike (Noel) and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 - 9 PM Friday, December 4, 2015 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11am at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Belleview, Florida.
