April 29th, 1924 - October 8th, 2009
Leta M. White, 82, of Caldwell, passed away, Thursday, Oct.8, 2009 at a Caldwell care center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009 at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell. Mrs. White was born April 29, 1927 in Imperial, NB, a daughter of Lou and Ella Vera Kimball Hiatt. She attended school in Imperial and completed the eighth grade. On Jan.1, 1961, Leta married Charles A. White and the couple enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. She was a homemaker and most of her life centered around her children. Leta liked to sew, garden, can and to quilt. She especially liked Sunday drives, fishing and going out to lunch. She is survived by her children, Phyllis White of Caldwell; Sharon and Leroy Robison of Caldwell and Eugene and Debbie White of Caldwell; her sisters, Wilma Weeks in Oregon and Ida Ryan in Texas; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, James Robison, two sisters and three brothers. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Legacy Hospice and Canyon West care center in Caldwell for their care and concern. Friends may call Monday, Oct.12, 2009 from 4:00 until 8:00pm at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Service Information
