0BITUARY Frank (Lew) Shirley, 84, born on December 28, 1938, survived by his wife Ann, married 43 years, daughter Kate Miller (Asher), son Andrew L., brother Tristan (Dottie), and granddaughters Lily Miller and Elizabeth Shirley. Lew was born in Pennsylvania to Frank Howard and Margaret Elizabeth Fischer. He graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Business Psychology. Lew worked in the aluminum recycle industry, working for several businesses including Coors and Consolidated Aluminum. He went on to join the family business at Aspen Mortuary for 20+ years as a funeral director. He played the piano, loved to play golf, working in the yard, and traveling with his family. Lew was so pleased with his water fountain in their backyard. Lew had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. He was so proud of his kids and he loved his wife with all his heart. Lew will be missed dearly, by all.
