In Loving Memory of Lila Claire Bacon Olson
Lila passed away peacefully September 8, 2024 surrounded by love and family.
Born October 13, 1929 in McCloud, California to Glenn Alan and Helen Marie (Lambert) Bacon, she was raised in southern California. Her family moved to Walker, Minnesota during her junior year of high school and it was there she met James (Jim) Olson and they married in 1950. After a brief few years in Myrtle Creek, Oregon she made Beaverton, Oregon her home for 65 years.
Lila was a positive force, always cheerful and appreciated life to the fullest. She was a multi-faceted lady, for example, she loved parties, playing bridge and anything involving nature, flowers, dogs and especially birds. Lila was a family-first matriarch and devoted herself to her family.
She is predeceased by her husband Jim and survived by her three children and their spouses; Sherri Brown (Herb), Donald Olson (Phon) and Pamela Buckles (Gary); eight grandchildren; Mario, Jonfranco, Chelsey, Ashley, James, Pitchapa, Justin and Jade; and 11 great-grandchildren; Guiliani, Eliana, Alexander, Parker, Lena, Jackson, Bridget, Wesley, Hudson, Hayes and Bronson and four step-great-grandchildren
