Lili M. Fortino was born August 18, 1925 to Alvira (Nottoli) and Victor Vaninetti. She passed peacefully in her sleep on May 3, 2016. Lili was preceded in death by her son Frank and her husband of 50 years Salvador. Lili, an avid golfer was an active member of Bidwell Women's Golf Club. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters, Ct St. Maria #1553. She is survived by her sister Margaret Rossi of Santa Cruz, sons Michael and Jerry of Chico and daughter Rosemary of Carmichael. Lili was blessed with three grandchildren, Jennifer, Adam and Grant and three great grandchildren, Jessica, Athena and Scarlett. Lili could always be found on Sunday mornings having her breakfast at Russell's with friends and family. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 12, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brusie Funeral Home. There will be a Mass Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 435 Chestnut Street, Chico, CA. Condolences may be sent online at brusiefh.com.
