Lilia Baker was born on November 11, 1922 in Brawley, CA and went to be with her lord on Febuary 18 2014. She is sirvived by her sons: James Morgan Baker of Auburn WA, John Paul Baker of Pacific Wa, Gary Lee Baker of AZ, Benny Baker of AZ, and her daughter-in-law Myrna Baker who was also her loving caregiver of 4 1/2 years. She has a 2 sisters: Nomino Reese of CA and a sister Linda Martinez of AZ. She has numerous nieces and nephews. She has 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Lilia grew up in East L.A and married James Roland Baker in 1968. For a short time, she lived in Alaska. Most of her years were spent in the Glendale, AZ area. She raised 4 boys (The Baker Boys.) She was a very loving mother and always had their best interest at heart. She devoited her whole life to her family, the lord, and anyone who was in need of anything! She fed thousands of familes in the Phoenix area with unquestioned faith in her Lord Jesus Christ that her needs would be meet (which they were.) She was unyielding in her belief as a Seventh Day Adventist and she is resting in peace waiting for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Donations can be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital to carry on our mothers love and caring of others.
