Lillard H. Curry

Versailles Lillard H. Curry, 91, husband of Cecelia Rogers Curry, died Monday, February 23, 2015. Mr. Curry was born in Lexington on September 4, 1923 to the late Robert and Ida Calhoun Curry. He was a charter member of Gardenside Christian Church and attended Woodford Community Christian. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Julie (Mike) Wash, of Versailles; his son, Glenn (Faye) Curry, of Garrard County; his siblings, Bess Gott and Ron Curry; his grandchildren, Glenda Billingsley, Mindy McLaughlin, Lori Lewis, Robyn Giles, Ashley Curry and Kevin Curry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emilee L. Curry, and his siblings, John Curry, Luther Curry, Arthur Curry, Lorena Brewer and Helen Mitchell. Funeral Information Service will be 11:00 AM Friday, Feb.27, at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing, with Charles Delaney officiating. Visitation will be 5 - 7 PM Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Legacy Center.
