September 10th, 1926 - December 30th, 2013
Lillian Frances Baker, 87, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord (December 30th, 2013 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Albemarle, NC, she has lived most of her life in Kingsport. She retired after 44 years of service with the J.P. Stevens company and was a member of Apostolic Lighthouse Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Nancy Dennis; husband of 62 years, Sebern Baker and son in law, John Jones She is survived by her two daughters, Betty Jean Baker, Church Hill and Shirley Jones, Kingsport; two grandchildren, Becky Morris and husband Kendal; Johnny Jones and wife Paige; six great grandchildren and a special aunt, Willa Lewis, Spencer, NC The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Thursday (January 2, 2014) at Apostolic Lighthouse Church. A funeral service will follow at 7 pm with Rev. David Peters officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am Friday ( January 3, 2014) at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport is serving the Baker family.
