Lillian Diane Cosper

A funeral service will be held for Lillian Diane Cosper, 71 of Florence, OR, on Wednesday, May 3rd at 12 noon at the Durham Park. She died Sunday, April 30, 2006 at a local care facility. Lillian was born March 5, 1935 in Los Angeles, CA. She married Burl Cosper on November 1st 1952 in Tucson, AZ. Lillian worked at J.C. Penney for over 25 years in the Furniture and Jewelry departments. She was devoted to her family and was a full time mother to her six children that she raised in Durham. After retiring she moved to Florence, OR. Lillian enjoyed tennis, softball, ceramics and raising orchids. Her survivors include her five children, Leah Gilbert of Chico, Stephanie Brisbine of Durham, Mike Cosper of Gig Harbor, WA, Phillip Cosper of Florence, OR, Stanley Cosper of Chico; one sister, Vivian Morris of Chico; one brother, Bill Mooney of Tucson, AZ; nine grandchildren, Jacob and Cody McCullar, Krista Stowie and Brooke Brisbine, John Michael Cosper, Courtney, Marki, Ariel and Lexy Cosper; two great grandchildren, Parker and Dylan Stowie.
