Lillian B. Myers

Lillian B. Myers, 81, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022. The wife of the late Lanny Myers, Lillian was born December 11, 1940, to the late James E. Begley and the late Gertrude Woods Francis in Leslie County, Kentucky. In her younger years, she loved to work in her flower gardens, but spending time with her family, cooking, taking care of flowers/plants, and keeping up with the University of Kentucky basketball were her most favorite things. Lillian leaves behind her children, Vickie (Michael) Marise, Lexington, Michael (Fran Floyd) Mellon, Frankfort, Patrick Myers, Frankfort, and Thomas Mellon; stepson, Michael W. Myers, TN; sisters, Debbie Schultz, OH, Mary Lou Bowen, OH, and Juanita McClananhan, OH; brothers, Ralph Begley, OH and Robert Francis, AL; and her grandchildren, Erik Marise, Sarah (Bjorn Erik) Marise Johansen, Shane Mellon, Sydney Mellon, Jacob Myers, Jayden Myers, Dallen Myers, Bristol Myers, Jasey Myers, Kodah Myers, Remedy Myers; as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Lanny Myers, and parents, James E. Begley and Gertrude Woods Francis, Lillian was preceded in death by a sister, Yvonne Wear, and her brothers, Seldon Begley, Horace “Tom” Begley, and Emmett “Joe” Begley. Services will be private.
