May 15th, 1943 - May 25th, 2016
My Life Story Lillian Sarah Tablit, 73, known as “Lily or Sarah”, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born in Ranchos de Taos, NM and resided in Vallejo, CA since 1966. She later moved to Boise, ID and lived there from July 2004 until May 2016. In Sarah's early years she studied and worked as a cosmetologist. She also worked for V-Bar Enterprises as bus driver, and later as a clerk for the United States Postal Service and then finally a clerk for Domor Inc. Lillian served in the United States Navy as a typist, retiring in 1989 from AAFAS Oakland Army Base as a warehouse clerk. In her retirement she enjoyed watching her granddaughters, Denise and Brooke. She was overjoyed when her son Talliskoa graduated from college and when he would show his airbrushing talents. Sarah, as her family knew her, enjoyed spending time with her family making tortillas and sopapillas and a more recent venture, making tamales. Sarah enjoyed the Hawaiian culture. She loved the people, music, dance and their traditions. She embraced her husband's Talio culture and family. She loved all kinds of music and in her later years she enjoyed leather crafts, jewelry making, drinking coffee and talking on the phone. Sarah was proud to be veteran and she attended functions at the VA. She enjoyed going to church at First Presbyterian Church in Vallejo, CA and most recently Covenant Presbyterian Church in Boise, ID. She loved to greet new people, serve coffee and treats, and do Media Ministry. Everyone knew her for her beautiful smile, her warm and friendly personality, and her love for the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Anatalio Tablit; brother, Ernesto Vigil; parents, Guadulupe Elias Vigil and Maria Inez Vigil. She is survived by her sons: Ernest of Boise Talliskoa of Meridian; daughter, Sharonet of Meridian; sisters: Lydia Garcia of Taos, NM, Tina Romero of Rancho de Taos, Betty Geronilla of Albuquerque, NM, Sofia Brown of Boise; her beloved Tablit sisters in-law; granddaughters: Denise Tablit of Meridian and Brooke Brown of Boise; and numerous nieces and nephews. We Entrusted Lillian Tablit's Care To
Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
