She was a retired nurse having worked for 20 years in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. Survivors include 2 daughters, Susan Samson of Waynesboro, Virginia and Alice Talbot of Santa Cruz, California; 2 grandchildren, Steven Talbot and Ruth Talbot, both of Santa Cruz; 3 brothers, Max Pepper of Montague, Massachusetts, Frank Pepper of San Francisco, California and Joseph Pepper of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and a sister, Ida P.
