Lexington, KY HENDERSON, Lincoln, 75, died September 10, 2013 after a long battle with melanoma. Lincoln is survived by his wife, Cecilia, son Wes (Julie), daughter Stacey (Brian), and ten grandchildren, Kyle (Michelle) Henderson, Courteney Sheely, Andrew Henderson, Lynnsey Sheely, Connor Henderson, Spencer Henderson, Lexi Sheely, Christian Henderson, Reganne Sheely and Ian Henderson. He is also survived by his brothers Jerry (Marge) and Greg (Barbara). While his wife, children, grandchildren and friends were his focus and passion in his life, Mr. Henderson was one of the original pioneers of the premium bourbon and whiskey categories in the U.S. and an inaugural member of the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame. He had a nearly 40-year career with Brown Forman, and came out of retirement in 2004 to create Angel's Envy with his son, which has become a critically-acclaimed bourbon, and the culmination of his storied career. He was a graduate of the University of Louisville, Webster University and a US Army Reserve Veteran. Funeral Information Visitation will be at NorthEast Christian Church, 990 Star Shoot Parkway in Lexington, Kentucky on Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 3-5 PM and Monday, September 16th from 12-1 PM. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM, Monday at NorthEast Christian Church Services will be conducted by Rev. Monte Wilkinson.
