Linda Joyner Ayers, age 71, of Columbia, SC passed away on September 21st, 2019. The memorial service will be held at 11am, Wednesday September 25th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 1330 Whippoorwill Dr., West Columbia 29169. Family will receive friends at 10am at the same location. Linda was born in Columbia, SC on September 24th, 1947. A daughter of the late Ferris K. Joyner, Sr. and Thelma Greene Joyner. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Avery S. Ayers; daughters Tiffany Cribb (Marty), Amy Kohler (John), Ashley Roy (Andy); grandchildren Austin, Noah, Alissa, Corey, Braedyn, Abigail; great grandson Ayden; her brother Larry Joyner (Leslie), brother-in-law Derek Riggs, cousin Jeanette Ross; nieces Kim Parnell (Robbie), Michelle Mayne (Matthew), Lauren Vicars (Wes), nephews Chris Frary (Deborah), Will Joyner (Ridgley), Alex Joyner (Robyn). Linda is predeceased in death by her parents and brother F. Kim Joyner, Jr. Linda enjoyed spending time with family and being involved with her church callings. Sister Ayers was a faithful and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to Linda’s cancer treatment medical fund @ LindaAyers-Cancer.tx.med.fund.(or contact her daughter Amy for details).
