Linda J Bacon

Linda Bacon (Ledford) passed away peacefully on April 12, 2022 in Denver, Colorado at the age of 74 with her daughter and son by her side. Linda was born in Kansas City, MO on February 11, 1948, raised in Overland Park, KS, and enjoyed dancing, singing, cheerleading and roller skating. She graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 1966. In June of 1969, Linda married Rod Bacon and on February 12, 1970, one day after her 22nd birthday, she gave birth to a set of premature twins Virginia (Ginny) and Scott and was a devoted mother for 52 years. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Rod Bacon, in 2018 and her father, Don Ledford, in 2021. Linda is survived by her mother, Clara Virginia Ledford, daughter Ginny Bacon with boyfriend Mike Brind , son Scott Bacon with his wife Kathi, their daughter Cassidy and his stepson Spencer Curry, and sister Janice Sell (Ledford) and her husband Steve Sell. She is also survived by several nieces: Liz Epp (Sell) with husband Justin and daughter Everlee and son Arlo, Sherry Taufer (Bacon) with husband Sean and twin-daughters Jessie and Vicki, Sandy Rhodes (Bacon) with son Josh, and niece Kim Bernard (Wada) with husband Kayn and sons Alex and Kenny. There will be no services.
