She was 58.She was born July 6, 1953, in Eugene. She married Robert Brooks on May 22, 1994, in Florence.She graduated from high school in Eugene in 1971. She worked as a secretary, as a dispatcher for a moving company and as a Wal-Mart cashier.Survivors include her husband; her parents, Robert Dickens and Millicent Nelson Dickens of Eugene; a son, Michael Roberts Jr. of Eugene; two brothers, Roger Dickens of Flower Mound, Texas, and Alan Dickens of Eugene; and three sisters, Ruby Olson, Susan Dickens and Karen Crawford, all of Eugene.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
