Linda Lou Cade, 78, of Church Hill went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at her home with her family by her side. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Church Hill where she attended the Koinonia Sunday School Class. Linda was an avid reader especially her bible. She was known for her cooking skills and green thumb. Linda was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Haley Daugherty; sister, Jane Skelton and husband Johnny; nephew, Matthew Skelton. 

Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Robert Cade Jr.; daughter, Crissy Cade; son, Craig Cade; sisters, Sandra Manis and husband Donald, Donna Davis and husband Ricky, and Tenna Reeves and husband Randy; along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.  

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. A funeral Service will follow with Pastor Dustin Jessee and Pastor Mitch Russell officiating.  

A graveside service will be conducted at 1pm on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Snyder’s Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50pm. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to UT Hospice especially Sarah for their loving care.  

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Youth Department at P.O. Box 847 Church Hill, TN 37642.
